Q

姉 あね

A

Older sister, Elder Sister. However, like any other family word, there are situations where you change this. For example, when you talk to your older sister or talk about someone else’s older sister, you use respectful words for them. Formal ways to say “Ane” include, “お姉さん (oneesan),” and “お姉様.” You can also use “お 姉ちゃん (oneechan),” however, this is ONLY when you talk TO your older sister. If you talk about your own sister to people who aren’t your sister, you can just say “ane.”

Q

兄 あに

A

Older Brother. Like other family members, you use formal words for “Ani” when talking TO your older brother or talking about other people’s older brothers. Formal ways to say “ani” include “Oniisama,” “Oniisan,” and… well… “Oniichan.” HOWEVER “ONIICHAN” IS ONLY FOR TALKING TO YOUR OLDER BROTHER. It’s not just for anyone. People will think your weird if you call their brother “Oniichan” unless you actually KNOW their brother.

父 ちち
(My) Father. Family is confusing, so for this, you say "chichi" when you are talking about your father to other people who aren't your father. When you talk to your father, you say "Otousan," "Otousama," "Chichiwae," or any formal way of saying "father." When you talk about other people's fathers, you also use one of the formal ways to say "father." I also don't recommend you going around calling your father "パパ (papa)," even though it's informal, just because it is very childish.
