Tell me about yourself?

A

I would say I am a well rounded bubbly individual, That loves to spend my free time volunteering for charities + local youth clubs. As I love giving back to the community. I also love spending time with my family and friends. I am currently studding computer science + love engaging with new technology. That’s why I started my work experience in a phone shop where they were so amazed at my knowledge that they hired me.

A

Samsung is one of the worlds largest producers of electronic devices and was founded in 1938. The company also has 5 core values which are, People focused, Excellence, Change, Integrity and Co-prosperity.

What do you do for fun?

A

I love to spend quality time with my family and friends. This can be going out and playing football in the park or getting on our bikes and going on adventures exploring new routes and areas. I have also recently started to go to the gym and am currently enjoying that.

What is your favourite samsung product?

A

I would say my favourite product would be the new Z fold as it is an amazing piece of technology which showcases samsungs amazing technology. its innovative and a fresh piece of technology which fits so well in todays ever changing society, something i believe samsung really works well and adapts with.

Why Samsung?

A

The family environment of Samsung is something thing I really love and would love to be apart of. The brand values of (list them) are values I really take into my daily life and believe they are very important. I would love to showcase these and be apart of the Samsung team and show people what Samsung is about as a company. I believe I posses all the right skills, knowledge and technology experience. I would love to be apart of, especially the amazing work samsung helping children across the world with their amazing programme Help for children.

Why should we hire you?

A

Well i believe you should hire me as i have over 3 years of technology based retail experience where i have really understood the importance of making sure customer service is a priority. I am able to manage my time effectively working towards deadlines + sale targets. I am a bubbly and friendly individual that allows me to easily help and asset others. Using my technology knowledge i believe i am equip to help customers with their needs and really showcase samsung products.

What will you bring to samsung?

A

Well i will bring my experience and knowledge of technology to assist customers into choosing samsung as their personal device helping them to the best of my ability. I will also bring my teamwork skills to samsung and work together with my colleagues to ensure all customers are servered at the highest standard. Being a very bubbly individual, i would love to engage with customers and really showcase Samsungs brand values and really rep the company as a whole.

What would you do if a customer wants a product they saw online, but it is not in stock in your store.

A

Well firstly i would being by checking if the product is in stock in the store as sometimes the system can have a glitch or error, If not i will inform the customer + give them choices moving forward. I would check the availability in the closets store, if there us u would inform the customer that it is available in that store, or alternatively get it delivered to this store. However this would all be done following the company guidelines.

Tell me about a time you have dealt with an angry customer?

A

A time where i had to deal with an angry customer was when a customer left his phone for a repair. On his return he noticed an issue with the repair, and began to raise his voice. I quickly came over to help + resolve the situation. I softly spoke to the customer + explained how we could resolve the situation, suggesting a 2nd repair. The customer felt reassured + calmed down, by the end his phone was fixed and he thanked me for my help.

Tell me about a time where you had to work well as a team?

A

When working during the charismas rush it was really important to work well and communicate as a team. One time, i was completing a stock check, when i realised that my colleague was getting very busy with customers and the shop floor becoming busier. I went over to assist the customers so that my colleague didn’t feel pressured. We worked as a team to serve customers and once done i retuned to my previous task and finished it.

Tell me about a time where you had to meet a time deadline?

A

A situation where i had a time deadline was was my previous role when i was asked to complete a stock report in a set amount of time. I had started my stock report when i noticed a lot of missing stock. I began by relocating the missing stock as quickly as i could and put it back in its place. I finished the stock report earlier than the deadline without compromising its quality.

Tell me about a time you felt stressed at work?

A

A situation in which i felt stressed was when i mistakenly put stock in the wrong section. The moment i realised i quickly fixed my mistake and have now learnt to double check + plan before/ahead of doing something. This has allowed me to work more efficiently + reduce the amount of errors. However it is normal to feel stressed its how you react which determines the outcome.

Tell me about a time where you felt proud of yourself?

A

A situation in which i felt proud of myself was the last charity event i did before the pandemic. All the volunteers were tasked with selling tickets for the fundraiser. In the end i had sold the most tickets and really felt proud of myself. Of course coming out on top was amazing but i also felt pride knowing the money raised would be going to a great cause and help change peoples lives around the world.

Tell me a time where you went above and beyond for a customer/

A

A situation where i went above and beyond for a customer was when a elderly gentleman had come in asking for a phone fit for his granddaughters birthday. He didn’t have much knowledge about phones but i assured him he was in good hands. I took out 3 of the best models at the time and went through each feature of the phone. though i spent much longer with him, he got what he wanted + more. and was really delighted with my knowledge and help.
