Talk about Moses’ journey from Egypt

A

After the seven plagues, the pharaoh finally released the Jews from slavery and Moses’ lead them through the Red Sea, which he parted. Moses is then given the Ten Commandments on top of Mt Sanri, although Moses later died after being in the desert for 40 years. He was succeeded by Josuah who lead the Jews to the promised land.

Talk about Abraham

A

Abraham left his home town (Ur) to travel to Cannan because in Ur they worshipped several Gods, and Abraham was monotheistic. He and his family settled on the way, in Haran, where God made a covenant with Abraham so he completed his journey to Cannan. The covenant involved Cannan becoming Abraham’s, naming it the promised land.

A

Abram and his wife (Sara) changed their names to Abraham and Sarah . Sarah, who couldn’t bear children because of age as well as being infertile, could give birth and would give Abraham many children and the Promised Land would be Abrahams to own. Finally, all the males in his family would be circumsized
