Examples of the way God is more present
The tabernacle considered to house the divine presence of God Is a portable temple similar to the structure of a tent where Jews carried with them through the borders of Canaan. The tabernacle was replaced with Solomons Temple of the cane and was conquered.
Jews belief of the life after death
There isn’t much information about the afterlife for Jews one reason being in general Jews are not too concerned with the afterlife. They focus more on living in the present in a way of pleasing God
Heaven
Many Jews believe they will go to heaven of paradise which is called Gan Eden when they die. It is considered to be where people always God but not known if it is in a conscious of physical or spiritual place
Sheol
Some Jews believe that people who don’t enter heaven go to Sheol the place of waiting results of plans
Judgement and resurrection
Jews believe they will be charged as soon as they die whereas others believe they will be judged on the day of judgement after the coming of the Messiah. This is supported by Daniel 12. Some Jews believe in the idea of physical and spiritual resurrection many don’t

Origins of the Messiah
The first king of Israel was Saul who was made king after the prophet Samuel anointed him with oil To say he was chosen by God to rule over jews. The leader is expected to be a future king of this world and a descendant of souls successor, King David
What does Messiah mean
It was originally used the to refer to the king of Israel but now it refers to the future leader of the Jews
What is the nature of the Messiah to Jews
– Rule over humanity with kindness and justice – uphold the law in the Torah and be the ultimate teacher. – Bring in world peace and unite humanity together – rebuild the temple in Jerusalem and get the Jews back to Israel
Orthodox Jews belief of Messiah
Descendent of King David is in every generation has the potential to become to the sale. If Jews are worthy of redemption this person would be directed by God to become the Messiah
Reformed Jews belief of the messiah
Many reform Jews reject the idea of the Messiah and believe in a future Messianic age will be achieved by everyone working together
