Q

How is the festival of Sukkot celebrated?

A

Sukkot is an annual reminder to the Jewish
community to be thankful to God for all he has done. Sukkot is celebrated for eight or nine days. It is a festival. It is a reminder of the Jews who lived in the wilderness after they were freed. They build tents called
sukkah. During this festival, Jews eat and sometimes even sleep in their own sukkah as a reminder of those who lived this way in the wilderness.
