18-75
Resident in the uk for at least 5 year
Registered on the electoral register

Selection

A

Selected randomly by the jury central summoning bureau
Jurors are vetted by a police check or in some cases wider background checks
A summons letter is received by post
At court 15 people are randomly selected from the assembly and then 12 are chosen
Once selected they must be sworn in
