Station house adjustment

A
  • *First time offenders**
  • warn the juvenile about future consequences of continued delinquency
  • notify parents
  • keep a record of ID of juvenile, date and nature of offense involved.
  • victim must be notified and agree to the process

quarterly reports to the prosecutors office
PDP/DP and fourth degree crimes if juvenile has no record

Fingerprinting and Photographs

A

14 or older charged with an offense that would be a crime if committed by an adult.

  • Juveniles charged with delinquency under 14 may not be fingerprinted or PDP/DP
  • Juvenile of any age may be fingerprinted for a comparison to latent prints either with consent of court or the juvenile and parent.
