We parted

The sea

فَاَنْجَيْنٰكُمْ

Then we saved you all

وَاَغْرَقْنَآ

غَ رْ ق
And We drowned

تَنْظُرُوْنَ

نَ ظَ رَ
You all look

وٰعَدْنَا

و ع د
We promised

لَيْلَةً

Nights

اّتَغَذْتُمْ

Took all

الْعِجْلَ
A
ع ج ل
The calf

Q
ظٰلِمُوْنَ

ظُ لْ م
Ones who DO wrong

عَفَوْنَا

عَ فُ وْ
We pardoned

Q
تَشْكُرُوْنَ
A
شُ كْ ر
You all be grateful

اَلْفُرْقَانَ

فَ ر ق
The criterion

فَتُوْبُوْآ

تَ وْ ب
So YOU ALL turn (in repentance)

بَارِئِكُمْ

Your Creator

فَاقْتُلُوْآ

قَ تْ ل
So YOU ALL kill!

رَ ءْ ىً
We see

Clearly

فَاَخَذَتْكُمُ
Then she/it seized you all

الصّٰعِقَةُ

| The thunderbolt

بَعَثْنٰكُمْ
بَ عَ ثْ
| We resurrected you all

ظَلَّلْنَا
ظِ لْ ل
| We shaded

الْغَمَامَ
غَ م م
| The clouds

الْمَنَّ
م ن ن
| The honeylike dew

السَّلوٰى
س ل و
| Quails

طَيِّبٰتِ
ط ي ب
| Pure

ادْخُلُوْا
دَ خَ لَ
| You all enter

الْقَرْيَةَ
قَ رِ يَ
| The town

حِقَّةٌ
ح ط ط
| Hittah/ forgiveness

نَغْفِرْ
غ ف ر
| We will forgive
37
خَطٰيٰكُمْ
خَ طَ ء/ي
| Your sins
38
سَنَزِيْدُ
زِيَ دَ
| Soon we will increase
39
الْمُحْسِنِيْنَ
حَ سَ نْ
| Those who do utmost good
40
فَبَدَّلَ
بَ دَ لَ
| Then he changed (completely)

رِجْزًا
رِ جْ ز punishment
رَ جَ زَ shudder, shake shiver
A severe filthy punishment
