Repetitive movement in an animal
Eg. Cat pacing back and forth in a zoo
MISDIRECTED BEHAVIOUR
A normal behavioural pattern that is directed at other animals or themselves
Eg. Birds pecking each other in a cage
FAILURE IN SEXUAL OR PARENTAL BEHAVIOUR
Natural mating pattern doesn’t occur
Abnormal and violent parenting
Eg. Mother killing her young
LEVEL OF ACTIVITY
Very low (APATHY)
Very high (HYSTERIA)
Eg. Animal laying for a long time
Bull running into a fence
