Nausea/vomiting
Distressing Psychological reactions eg. agitation hallucinations/ dysphoria
Muscle effects inc. increased tone, random spasms

Pain Managemnt/ behavioural disturbances Dose- >14yrs-<65yrs

Answer 4

IM- 1mg/kg bolus. Max bolus 100mg. Repeat every 10mins. MAX TOTAL DOSE 2mg/kg up to 200mg.
IV- 0.25mg/kg bolus. Max bolus 30mg. Repeat every 3-5mins. MAX TOTAL DOSE 200mg.

Pain Management/ behavioural disturbances Dose->65yrs

Answer 5

IM- 0.5mg/kg bolus. Max bolus 50mg. Repeat every 3-5mins. MAX TOTAL DOSE 100mg.
IV- 0.125mg/kg bolus. Max bolus 50mg. Repeat every 10mins. MAX TOTAL DOSE 1mg/kg up to 100mg.

CPR Interfering Consciousness Dose- >16yrs

IV- 20mg diluted bolus. Repeat every 3mins. MAX TOTAL DOSE 100mg.
