Corruption
A noun which is dishonesty and illegal behaviour by people in positions of authority or power.
Shanty
A noun is small rough but which poor people live in, built from tin, cardboard, or other materials that are not very strong.
Stifling
Adjective heat is so intense that it makes you feel uncomfortable. You can also use stifling to describe a place that is extremely hot.
Squatter
Is a noun and is someone who lives in an unused building without having a legal right to do so whithout paying anything.
Siphon
Is a verb and is when you cause them to be used for a purpose for which they were not intended.
Prosecution
A noun in which the lawyers who try to prove that a person on trial is guilty.
Poise
An adjective in which if someone is a poise, they are calm, dignified, and self-controlled.
Destitute
An adjective in which if someone who is destitute has no money or possessions.
Marginalised
A verb in which to marginalise a group of people means to make them feel isolated and unimportant.
