Ahimsa means harmlessness - to avoid harming any living person or creature.
What is Brahman?
Brahman is the Universal or Supreme spirit from which everything comes.
What is Dharma in Hinduism?
Dharma refers to a Hindu’s religious duty. For example, in the householder stage, their duty is to marry and have children.
What does Karma signify?
Karma is the belief that every action has an effect on the soul, which decides future rebirth.
What is Moksha?
Moksha is the release or escape from the process of rebirth, also known as liberation or salvation.
What is a Murti?
A Murti is an image or statue of a Hindu god, such as Shiva or Ganesha.
What does Avatara mean?
Avatara refers to the appearance or incarnation of God on earth to protect it, such as Rama or Krishna.
What is the Trimurti?
The Trimurti consists of three of the most important forms of Brahman: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
