What is kienbock disease ?
A
Avascular necrosis of the lunate.

How does kienbock disease occur ?
A
Single or repeated trauma to the lunate.

What are the 4 stages of the appearances of the lunate once AVN occurs ?
A
1 - Fracture of the lunate.
2 - Increased sclerosis of the lunate.
3- Flattening and collapse of the lunate.
4- Almost complete collapse of the lunate with degenerative changes.
