Normal range 460-500
Deliver a volume that produces visible chest movement

Early recongnition and call for help, to prevent cardiac arrest.
Early CPR- To buy time
Early defibriliation - to restart the heart
Post resuscitation care - To restore quality of life
delays can lead to tissue death

Conscious patient - encouraged to cough, generating pressure, then 5 back slaps, 5 abdo thursts.
