How did Sparta benefit from the Kings Peace in 397/6?
- Sparta wasnt froced to relinquish control of the dependent cities in Lakonian territory.
- Sparta benefitted from further: alliances could be denounced as being in breach of the terms of the Kings peace unless it was on equal terms between free and autonomous parties.
- Because of Persian backing: Sparta was able to absorb, conquer and interfere in the internal governance of other Greek states both inside and outside the Peoloponnese.
