What is l’imparfait?
A
It is a past action with no definite ending. It is used to describe something and to express “used to”.

How do you form imparfait?
A
Use the “nous” form of the verb in the present tense, remove the ons, and then add the ending.

What is the only irregular verb in imparfait
A
être; use “ét-“ then add the normal ending

What are the imparfait endings?
A
Any verb with any ending uses this:
je = -ais nous = -ions
tu = -ais vous = -iez
il/elle/on = -ait ils/elles = -aient
