Interrogative pronouns
什么，哪儿，谁， etc。
Used to refer to a place, person, place, thing or manner.
Often connected by 就
谁爱我，我就爱谁。Whoever loves me, then I’ll love whoever.
你想吃什么，就吃什么。You want to eat whatever, then eat whatever.
一……也/都 + 没/不
一 + MEA + Recipient of action
To emphasize a complete negation
我一个人都认识。 I don’t know anybody.
他一点儿信用都没有。I don’t have any credit.
就是A, 也B
Even if… still…
Indicates a hypothetic situation
就是没有钱买米，我也不借借债。Even if I don’t have money to buy rice, I still won’t borrow money.
V + 得/不 + 下
Indicates whether a certain quantity can be put in place
宿舍主得下这么多人吗? Can the dormitory accommodate so many people?
这儿听不下十辆汽车。There’s no space for 10 cars.
V + 得/不 + 了
Indicates whether somebody can do something
他吃得了辣的。He can eat spicy food.
你朋友秋天来得了吗？Can your friend come in fall?
V + 得/不 + 动
Shows whether or not the movement or action will cause somebody or someone to change in position
我自己拿得动这些东西。 I can carry these things by myself。
V + 起来
To start to
切蛋糕的气候，大家都唱起生日歌来了。
When we cut the cake, everybody started singing Happy Birthday.
刚到五越，天气就热起来了。May has arrived, the weather has started getting hot.
一A, 就B
As soon as A occurs, B occurs afterwards
他一生气，就不吃饭。As soon as he gets angry, he won’t eat.
北京一到五月，天气就热起来了。As soon as may arrives in Beijing, the weather starts getting hot.
除了…以外，还/也/都…
Además de… también/excepto…
他除了会说汉语以外，还会说英语。
Él además de poder hablar chino, incluso puede hablar inglés.
Primero incluye el excepto de el resto.
除了不喜欢听民歌，也什么音乐都爱听。
Excepto de que no me gusta la música folclórica, amo escuchar cualquier otra música.

Expresa la continuación de una acción
天气会热下去吗？Will the weather continue to be hot?
大家只要学下去，就一定学会。As long as you keep studying, then you will be able to learn it.
