Q

for a companies second year of trading, how are profits taxed?

A

it depends on the length of the accounting period ending in the 2nd fiscal year.

If AP is:

  1. 12 months - those 12 months
  2. < 12 months - first 12 months of trade.
  3. > 12 months - last 12 months of period

if no accounting period - actual (6/4 - 5/4)
