A glass container with measurements to measure, a spout for pouring, mixing.
What is a retort stand?
Is used to clamp a beaker then heated over a flame. Can be adjusted.
What is a measuring cylinder?
Long cylinder with accurate measurements to measure the volume of liquids.
What is a filter funnel?
Separates substances without splashing and leaking in skin of hands.
What is a watch glass?
Circular glass plate used to hold liquids and microorganisms while they are being observed.
What is a thermometer?
Measures temperature, gas, air, food or liquid.
What is a spatula?
Used to scrape and transfer powders or pastes.
What is a conical flask?
Make, measure, hold, mix or collect solutions.
What is a tripod?
Used to platform something while over a Bunsen burner is heating.
What is a bosshead?
Hold clamp on retort stand.
What is a Heat proof mat?
Protects the work space and to put hot things like matches, or tongs.
What is a gauze mat?
Goes over the tripod to protect the container from falling or burning.
