A
- Retractable, tricycle type with dual (WOW) sensors.
- Mains have hydraulically powered & electrically actuated carbon brakes with anti-skid protection, controlled through a brake-by-wire system.
- Nosewheel is controlled electronically, but actuated hydraulically.

LG Manual Release Handle Sequence of Events
A
- Hydraulic pressure is released from all door uplocks.
- Hydraulic pressure is released from all gear uplocks.
- Main gear door mechanically released.
- Main gear uplocks mechanically released.
- Main gear free falls & the actuators are pressurized to the down position with Sys #2 pressure via an alternate valve.
- Nose Gear doors mechanically released.
- Nose Gear uplocks mechanically released.
- Nose Gear free falls & is assisted by springs to the down & locked position.
