Erosion is the breakdown of landforms due to wind and rain.

Deposition is the laying down of materials due to wind, water and ice.

Sediment is material carried by water
What is swash, backwash and destructive waves?
Swash is the waves that wash onto the beach. Backwash is waves returning down the beach. Destructive waves are powerful waves that are caused by storms.

What is a rip current?
A rip current is a fast flowing current that carries people out to sea.
How do you escape a rip current?
You can escape a rip current by waiting till your in calm water than swimming parallel to the beach.
How do you identify a rip?
A rip is usually calmer than the water around it. Rips have bubbles on the top and sometimes they are a bit darker.
