  • One handed signs (right hand activate sensorimotor cortex in the elft hemipshere and for 2 handed signs it is activated in both hemispheres
  • for comprehensions similar to spoken language the inferior frontal cotext is engaged bilateraly (more in left )
    Supramarginal gyrus involved in encoding and retrieval of the signs (MacSweeney et al., 2008; Corina et al. 1999)
