A

Some Laptops are very modular while some are not. With modular batteries, you can expect a a button that can pop-out and then you can replace the battery there. But with non-modular batteries, you might need a technician to do a full laptop takedown to replace the battery.

Keyboard Replacement/Takedown.

A

Usually very easy to replace. Usually you can remove a few beze/ or a few screws and the keyboard will pop-out as a single unit. Usually connect to the system board/mother board with a single ribbon cable. May or may not be this easy.

How to troubleshoot a laptop that is having keyboard problems?

A

Connect an external keyboard to troubleshoot so that you can get around the problem caused by the laptop’s keyboard. It could also help indicate whether the problem is with the physical keyboard itself or in the operating system.
