Individual established conventional social bonds, this will lead to social control & has the potential to change the behavior.
(this employs Hershey social bonds; change occurs on the quality of turning points.
*It is not just one turning point it can be multiple.
Can persistence involve human agency
People have some choices within their given social context or situation (motivation)
- They don’t see motivation as enduring more because its situational/ environmental
