  1. Repeal (use statue act as a dustbin)
  2. Codify (statutes are simplified e.g Theft Act 1968)
  3. Consolidate (tell parliament to bring all similar law together)
  4. Reform (however, Parliament is reluctant to do so)

A

Pressure groups can raise a lot of public awareness of an issue which makes it more likely for changed to happen and as well they have quite detailed knowledge of what they’re interested in so they can really help help educate others

EV - pressure groups may be biased

A

Pressure groups might be biased in favour of their court because obviously that’s what they’re fighting for but they might not be able to be flexible to see other views outsider groups might be quite prepared to be like violent and cause disruption which makes them look bad
