are part of private law that governs how a person’s property is distributed after they die and how their family is cared for while they are alive.
Tort law
a legal area that deals with civil wrongdoings, where a person commits an act or omission that causes harm to another, resulting in the injured party being able to sue for monetary compensation, aiming to remedy the wrongdoing and compensate the victim for their damages; essentially, it’s a legal mechanism to seek justice when someone is harmed by another person’s actions, whether intentional or negligent.
