What is Marketing Information system
A Mis continually gathers, accesses and analyses information that marketing mangers need to make decisions . It’s easy to set up and use within an organisation, it is also known as intranet
Market research?
Is a procedure used to develpo and analyse new info to help marketing managers make decsions eg increase in products such as applaiances
Intranet?
Is a system for linking computers within a company, the intranet is accessible by and limited to employees and information is available on demand
Importance of marketing research
Marketing research helps marketers understand customers, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions to improve strategies and reduce risks.

Diffrncece between Qualitative research and Quantitative research
Qualitative Research focuses on exploring experiences and insights through non-numerical data like interviews and observations.
Quantitative Research deals with numerical data, using surveys or experiments to quantify variables and identify patterns.
