Drug Dose
specified quantity of a theraeutic agent, prescribed to be taken at one time or at stated intervals
therapeutic dose
the amount of medication required to produce the desired therapeutic effect
single dose
when you take it once, it is this
daily dose
the amount of a drug that is to be taken within 24 hours
divided dose
the definite fraction of a full dose, given repeatedly at short intervals so that the full dose is taken within a specified period
dosage regimen
a formalized schedule by which drugs are administered, including number of doses per time period, amount of drug and time between doses
therapeutic range
the dosage range or serum concentration that is usually expected to achieve a desired therapeutic effect
minimum effective dose
MED the smallest amount of drug that will produce a desired effect

TD50 the dose that produces a toxic effect in 50% of the population

the amount of a medication administered to maintain a desired level of medication in the blood

medication or treatment designed and used to preven a disease from occuring
