2) With respect to delta G, what do enzymes do for the reaction?

A
  • the reaction rate in increased by reducing the activation energy, more products are made so delta G is a negative number

4) What exactly does Vo, Vmax, Km, Kcat, 1/Kcat,

A

Vo is initial rate, Vmax is the highest rate, Km is half of Vmax, Kcat is turnover # (# of substrate molecules converted into product units are 1/S), 1/kcat is time required for one molecule to be processed.
