What are the 4 bands for the time scale of human actions?

What band are the tasks we will be doing in?
rational and cognitive
What is methodology?
The way the experiment is carried out and designed
What is the signal?
The valuable data when experiment is being carried out
What is the noise?
The invaluable, messy data.
Why do we want to design good controlled experiments?
As in the end we will hopefully be able to infer a causeaul relationship.
-> we are looking to say that the thing we created does the right thing , and indicates that one event is the result of the occurrence of the other event in our experiment
What do we want to do with the signal and the noise?
We want to minimise the noise and maximimise the signal.
What could be noise in an experiment?
bad mood , lighting , weather
