  2. WORM memory - write once, read many times - an indelible recording that can only be written once
  3. Watermarks - active detection technique used to verify image integrity and authentication via digital mark
  4. Digital signatures - hashing algorithms
  5. Encryption - process of scrambling the image so it cannot be viewed without encryption key
  6. Integrity of analyst - the integrity and reputation of the analyst
