Lenny Flashcards

1
Q

What does the animal imagery imply?

A

Lennie acts on instinct like many animals. Acting on pure instinct alone can make someone dangerous. He is compared to a bull and a bear which are potentially dangerous animals. Both these things contribute to the overall effect of dramatic irony as Lennie later on acts on his instinct and ends up killing Curley’s wife
