Q

What went wrong with the plan?

A
  1. Russia mobilised its army and France didn’t.
  2. Germany thought Britain wouldn’t join the war if Belgium was invaded, that didn’t happen
  3. Belgium refused to let the Germans through so they were invaded and prevented the Germans from getting to France, helping [France] to mobilise its army.
