What does Christian Education build in the minds of students, and what does it do?
A theological sieve. It keeps what should be kept, and discards what should be discarded.
What should we spend our time and energy doing?
Studying and imparting truth.
What is it dangerous to do?
Focus on evil and educate yourself on the baser things of life.
What is necessary for permanent behaviour modification to occur?
There must be a change in how the mind processes information.
What is the object of Christian Education?
To formulate a distinctively Christian mind that is able to think and act according to Biblical principles.
When have you done your part as a Christian educator?
When your students habitually choose to do right.
What is an indispensable goal of Christian Education?
Communication of Biblical content.
What are the ‘hooks’ referred to in this lesson?
The absolutes or principles from the Word of God by which we can categorise every bit of knowledge.
