An essential mineral carrying oxygen in blood, helps keep kids energized.

Indigestible complex carbohydrates found in tough parts of vegetables, fruits, grains.

Mainly sugars, starches that the body breaks down into glucose. Made of C, H, O

Malnutrition
Occurs when a person gets too little/too much nutrient beyond the needed requirements from them to intake daily.

Condition that occurs when you eat too much consumption of nutrients.

Weight loss, swollen stomach, difficulty concentrating, irritability

Obesity, heart problems, difficulty in walking, diarrhea.
Prevention of Under Nutrition
Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, drink milk and dairy food, eat balance food rich in carbohydrates, and follow the food pyramid

Pay attention to food you eat, lessen sugar, follow balanced diet, follow food pyramid in your diet
Micronutrients Defficiency
Lack of essential in vitamins, minerals that’s required to sustain needed food in a daily diet.
Iron Deficiency
Common among young women, children, vegetarians who eliminate meat in their food intake.
Calcium and Vitamin D Deficiency
Common in many developing countries.
Vitamin A Deficiency
Weakens bones, increases risk at osteoporosis later in life.
