Straight backing

1. place your left hand on the top of the steering wheel
2. look over your right shoulder through the rear window and back slowly

DO NOT look straight ahead except for quick glances to make sure you are not going to hit anything

Turn the wheel in the direction that you want the back of the vehicle to go

1. Use both hands on the steering wheel
2. to back to the left shoulder with occasional glances to the front
3. to back to the right look over your right shoulder with occasional glances to the front
