Time since doing something
Sub. (w/wout ले ), past v.s. + एको , time, भयो .
e.g.: म नेपालमा आएको दुइ महिना भयो .
म नेपालमा आएको दुइ महिना भयो
It is 2 months since I came to Nepal. (Lit: It became 2 months since I came to Nepal)
तपाइँ नेपालमा आएको कति भयो ?
How long since you came to Nepal?
मेरो घर छ . मेरो घर भएको दुइ बर्ष भयो
I have a home. I have had a home for 2 years (it is 2 years since/that I have had a home).
Time since doing something, negative form

मैले laptop use नगरेको दुइ दिन भयो .
मैले laptop use नगरेको दुइ दिन भयो .
I haven’t used my laptop for 2 days.
मैले पिज्जा नखाएको धेरै भएको छैन
It hasn’t a long been time since I ate pizza.
धेरै भएको छैन
that’s not a long time; it hasn’t been a long time.
मेरो लागि धेरै भयो
a long time for me
अहिलेको लागि
for now
How long have you been in Nepal? Answer =
दुइ महिना भयो
नभेटेको धेरै भयो
long time no see
Imalलाइ नदेखेको धेरै भयो
I haven’t seen Imal for a long time.
म त्यो restaurantमा नखाएको तिन दिन भयो
I haven’t eaten in that restaurant for 3 days.
म त्यो restaurantमा नगएको तिन दिन भयो
I haven’t gone to that restaurant for 3 days.
