Bureaucratic Authority
Authority is gained from the rules of an institution or the laws of the state

small, kin-based group who form an egalitarian community and cooperate in activities
tribe
consists of a number of bands that were politically integrated and shared aspects of culture
chiefdom
in which one or more local groups are under a single ruling individual, the office of chief is often hereditary

it’s a territory with it’s own institutions and population
nation
a large group of people who inhabit a specific territory and are connected by history, culture, or another commonality
