Low Class Tone Rules?
- 1st tone mark with a low class letter is ‘falling’ (start high, go low)
- 2nd tone mark with a low class is ‘high’ (start low, rise up)

cancels out the letter so that you don’t have to pronounce it. Often used for Thai words that have foreign origins (e.g. corn, pound, warm sound basically the same as English)
When you are ending with a ล or a ร?…
- it will sound like an ‘n’
When you are ending with a จ?…
- it will sound like a ‘t’

- the ห becomes silent and forces high class rules on a low class letter (rising tone)
