What is Reiki?
a beautiful form of energy healing.

So what exactly is Reiki?
It’s a non-invasive healing technique whereby you channel the glorious universal life force energy through you then to your focus (yourself, somebody else, an animal, or even an object).
Who can perform Reiki?
Reiki can be performed by absolutely anybody!
How did Reiki come about?
Universal Life Force Energy itself has always been around, which means no earthy being created it.
Who is Mikao Usui?
A Japanese doctor.
How long did Mikao Usui fasted for?
21 days.
What happened to Mikao Usui on his last day of fasting?
Reiki rushed towards him and into his third eye; he went into a deep state of meditation or unconsciousness (it’s not quite clear which)
What are the 5 Reiki Principles?
Do not be angry, Do not worry, Be grateful, Work with diligence, Be kind to every living thing.
Who created the five principles?

What’s an attunement?
It’s the process of attuning oneself (or someone or something else) back to our source, the Universal Life Force Energy.
Are there other forms of Reiki?
Yes, there are countless other styles of Reiki practices and forms of energy healing that one can learn, follow and use.
Why is visualization important when performing Reiki?
two reasons
It helps you focus on channelling the Universal Life Force Energy as opposed to your own.
It also help you not to use your own energy when performing Reiki.
What does Power Hand mean?
Is the hand you will lead with for your hand positions and healings.
Does you Power Hand stay consistent (only is one hand)?
Not all the times. We’re dynamic creatures, so a little change should be expected from time to time.
What are the Preparation steps?
Letting Go,
Intention,
Protection.
What is required in the Letting Go step?
Let go of any expectation or outcomes you may have for Reiki; trusy that the universal energy will go directly where it’s meant to go (which may or may not, be the same as your intention).
What is required in the Intentions step?
- ) Put your hands in a prayer position, with your eyes closed, and sit for several moments to clear your mind.
- ) Visualize the recipient and say either in your mind or aloud - one of the following intention:
a. ) “Please allow this healing to serve [insert name of person/ animal/ thing/ place]’s highest good.”
b. ) “Flow through me to resolve [insert name of person/ animal/ thing/ place]’s unease.”
c. ) “Please let this session go just as it should”
What is required in the Protection step?
a. ) Stop and mediate
b. ) Visualize yourself and either the source of the issue or just you and the Universe.
c. ) Visualize (Imagine) the connection of the energy between you and the source of the issue/ alot of things.
d. )Now visualize those ‘energy strings’ being cut loose from you (big pair of scissors or even use your hands)
e. ) Disconnect yourself from the negative energy.
f. )As you disconnect, Say, “only allow positive and loving bonds to remain” or whatever feels right for you.
g. )See yourself in healing white light.
Should you perform Reiki if you are unbalanced, upset, agitated?
What should you do to try and fix it?
NO!!
Take some time out to relax, mediate and perform Reiki on yourself.
Should you do this Protection Method after an healing session?
YES!! So that you can protect yourself from your recipient issue.
Disconnecting after each healing is way to …….
