I identified the quality, function and costs of materials to identify which elements could be adjusted whilematinaing the clients objectives including painting and wrapping existing doors than replacement and natural ventilation than mechanical AHU.

Refer to NRM1: The total cost can be calculated by: C = (a + b) x p Buildings works estimate plus preliminaries estimate times by percentage for main contractors overheads and profit = main contractors overheads and profit estimate.

How did you uplift the tender price for children’s recovery at RBH? How did you ensure costs were up to date at each stage of project? How did you manage and monitor risk costs?

Normally use TPI from BCIS however client required public sector indices provided by their internal cost consultants to uplift the cost plans. Updated when the programme changed, reassessing construction costs at each quarter making sure updated in line with inflation and quotations received on projects. Reviewed with the design team the risk register and continuously updated the costs in accordance with mitigations.
