New thing about present perfect + words
an action who has temporarily stopped or who has been partially completed. The situation may change or continu in the future (so far, up to now, until now, this week, today..)
In what situation we use duration with the present perfect tense?
Sometimes with negative sentences
When it’s the present perfect continous tense but the verb is stative and it specifies the duration we use the __

An action that started in the past and is continuing in the present. We specify the duration

Present continuous, we don’t specify the duration but in the present perfect continuous yes!
When I am in the present perfect continuous , but there’s a stative verb, what do I do?

-The past perfect tense is used to talk about two actions that happened in the past, one of which occurred or was completed before the other action happened.
-to show the completion of an action by a specific time in the past. The word by is used for this purpose
form of past perfect tense

In the past perfect tense, The action that happened first is in the

In the past perfect tense, the action that happened after is in the
pas tense
PAST PERFECT CONTINUOUS TENSE 2
- to emphasize the duration of an action that was in progress in the past before another action happened. It often answers the question how long.
-to show a link between something that happened in the recent past and something that happened in the more distant past.
form of past perfect continuous
Had+ been + (bas+ing)
If the verb is stative and we are in the past perfect continuous tense, we use the
past perfect tense
THE FUTUR PERFECT TENSE:
used to talk about an action that will be completed between now and some point in the future.
Form of the future perfect tense
will + have + pp
words that we use in the future perfect tense
By then, by the time, by this year, by March 10th, etc.
Futur perfect continuous
used to show the duration of an action that will be in progress in the future.
When it’s a stative verb and we are in the future perfect continuous ,
we use futur perfect instead

hypothetical situations. What could happen in the future, what might have happened in the past and what we wish would happen in the present.
