How do we get distracted?

One is the awareness and one is the mind, awareness is a glowing ball of light that can float around and mind is a vast space with many different sections within it. The glowing ball of light can go any where in that vast space, where it wants to. When it goes to a particular area of the mind, it lights up that area, and you become conscious of it. This is what happens all day long, we let people and things around us to take our awareness from one area of the mind to the other, all day long. Thefore we come distracted.
