What does transparent mean?
Objects that all light passes through, letting you see through them.

Water, glass, and air
What is translucent?
It allows light to pass through but cannot be seen through clearly.
What are 3 examples of translucent objects?
Tinted car window, sunglasses and frosted glass
How do you draw a ray?
It is a like with an arrow on it
How do you draw a parallel beam?
4 lines with arrows on them
How do you draw diverging beams?
3 lines spreading out forwards with arrows on them
How do you draw converging beams?
Four lines spreading out fowards with arrows going backwards on them
What is a shadow and two types of shadows?
Shadows are formed when an opaque object blocks a light source. Two types are point source and extended source
What is an umbra?
An umbra shadow is a region of total darkness
What is a penumbra?
A penumbra shadow is a region of partial darkness.

When the moon is between the earth and sun
What is an image?
When an object is placed in front of a mirror

A flat smooth reflecting surface used by regular reflection to form images
