Lights Flashcards

1
Q

Check that the braking lights are working.

A

Back up against a wall and take a look in the mirror to see if all the brake lights are on. Another solution is to place the warning triangle cover on the brake pedal and push the seat tight, so that the cover is pressed on the brake pedal. Then you can go behind the car and see if the brake lights works. If the brake lights do not light up, it could be a blown fuse or a broken light bulb.

If you have a passenger with you, get them to help you.

Turn on the lights, drive into a wall, and see if there comes light from both lights. Walk in front of the car with the low beams on. You should not be blinded. If you do, it could be a bulb that has been installed incorrectly.
