A

PHALEN TEST: Flex fist for 1 min, +ve = paraesthesia and pain
TINEL TEST: tapping wrist causes tingling
GOLD STANDARD: EMG

Treatment

A

Wrist splint at night + steroid injection (acutely v.painful)
Last resort = surgical decompression
