36
Flight Operations ENGINE ANTI-ICE must be AUTO or ON
when TAT is 10°C or less and icing conditions exist or are anticipated, except during climb, cruise, and descent when SAT is below -40°C.
37
 Icing conditions exist
when OAT (ground) or TAT (flight) is 10°C or below Visible moisture (fog with visibility of 1 SM or less, rain, sleet, snow, ice pellets, or other forms of moisture) is present, or • Standing water, ice, slush, or snow is present on the ramps, taxiways, or runway surfaces.
38
On takeoff or missed approach, do not engage autopilot below: Two-engine or single-engine operations:
200 feet AGL
39
Non-ILS Autopilot must be disengaged before the aircraft
descends more than 50 feet below the MDA/DA, unless in the go-around mode.
40
Do not use flight level change pitch mode (FLCH) on final approach below
1000 feet AFE.
41
Autoland approaches are not approved
with flaps 25.
42
Without LAND 2 or LAND 3 annunciated
the autopilot must be disengaged below 200 feet AGL.
43
AUTOLAND LIMITATIONS
Headwind 25 knots Tailwind. 15 knots. (10 knots for CAT II/III) Crosswind. 25 knots. (15 knots for CAT II/III)
44
ILS Glideslope Angle
Maximum 3.25° Minimum 2.50°
45
Automatic landings can be made
using flaps 20 or 30 with one or two engines operating. The autopilot flight director system (AFDS) autoland status annunciator must display either LAND 2 or LAND 3.
46
A flaps-20 automatic (or manual) landing
may be accomplished only when directed by procedure
47
Autoland must be used when weather conditions are
below CAT I minimums
48
Do not attempt an automatic landing on any runway that
has a glideslope unusable below a given altitude or offset localizer note on the approach plate page.
49
Autoland landing cannot be made if
the SLATS DRIVE EICAS message is displayed.
50
Minimum threshold crossing height
40 feet
51
Do not attempt an automatic landing on any runway that has a glideslope height above threshold (shown on approach plate page)
less than 40 feet.
52
The 777 is not certified for autolandings at weights
in excess of max landing weight.
53
The 777 is not certified for autolandings with loss of
two or more elevator hydraulic actuators. (Loss of hydraulic systems R or C results in loss of only one hydraulic actuator; Loss of hydraulic system L or any combination of L, C, and R results in loss of two or more hydraulic actuators.)
54
APU ALTITUDES – MAXIMUM
For APU start 43,100 feet Pack operation 22,000 feet
55
APU STARTER DUTY CYCLE
3 Start attempts in a 60-minute period (electric starter only) Time after three consecutive start attempts (air turbine only) 5 minutes
56
Do not start APU during
fueling operations following an APU automatic shutdown or failed start.
57
HF RADIO
Do not transmit on the HF radio during fueling operations.
58
SATCOM PHONE (322) Do not use SwiftBroadband (SATCOM R) service
for ATC communications.
59
WIRELESS DEVICES ON FLIGHT DECK
KEEP ALL WIRELESS DEVICES AFT OF THROTTLE QUADRANT OR SECURELY MOUNTED TO APPROVED MOUNT LOCATIONS WHEN ENGINES OPERATING FOR THE PURPOSE OF FLIGHT When this placard is installed, wireless devices may be used as stated on the placard. If the placard is not installed, the electronic display units (DUs) have been modified to mitigate EMI effects, and the use of wireless devices is permitted, without restriction..
60
REVERSE THRUST
Backing the aircraft with use of reverse thrust is prohibited. • Intentional selection of reverse thrust in flight is prohibited. • Do not attempt a go-around after thrust reverser deployment
61
ENGINE OIL PRESSURE – MINIMUM (200A/B)
70 PSI Negative-g operation below 10 PSI is limited to the following: (200A/B) 30 seconds
62
ENGINE OIL PRESSURE – MINIMUM (200C/322)
10 PSI Negative-g operation below 10 PSI is limited to the following: (200C/322) 15 seconds.
63
Maximum Assumed Temperature
The amount of thrust reduction must not exceed 25%, (322) 40% of the full-rated takeoff thrust Sabre and the FMC comply with this limitation programmatically. Pilot action is not required.
64

Minimum prior to engine start 18 quarts After engine start, oil quantity indication may be lower.
65
Min Oil Irregular OPS
During irregular operations not caused by oil-related issues, the flight may depart on a non-ETOPS flight of less than 3 hours with 16 quarts, or less than 2 hours with 12 quarts.
66
CROSSWIND AND TAILWIND THRUST LIMITS
322) During ground operations (exclusive of takeoff) in tailwinds and crosswinds between 30 and 45 knots, limit thrust to a maximum of 70% N1. Avoid thrust levels above that required for normal taxi operation in all tailwinds and crosswinds greater than 45 knots.
67
FLIGHT CONTROLS
Takeoff is permitted only in the normal flight control mode. • Avoid rapid and large alternating control inputs, especially in combination with large changes in pitch, roll, or yaw (e.g., large side-slip angles) as they may result in structural failure at any speed, including below VA.
68
SPEED BRAKES
Do not use speed brakes in flight below 1000 feet AGL.
69
GROUND MANEUVER CAMERA SYSTEM (322)
Do not use the ground maneuver cameras during takeoff, approach, and landing.

• On ground, maximum allowable difference between Captain’s or First Officer’s altitude display and the field elevation: 75 feet. • In flight, maximum allowable difference between Captain’s and First Officer’s altitude displays: 200 feet. • EICAS advisory message SGL SOURCE AIR DATA is not displayed. • EICAS advisory message NAV AIR DATA SYS or AIR DATA SYS is not displayed.
71
When required to cruise at altitudes below optimum due to air traffic, atmospheric conditions, or non-normal procedures and no further step climbs are planned, set the FMC STEP
size to zero. This ensures best available FMC FUEL and ETA predictions.
72
FMC-CALCULATED TAKEOFF SPEEDS – ALTERNATE FORWARD CENTER OF GRAVITY (322)
When operating at an alternate forward center of gravity limit for takeoff, disregard the FMC-calculated takeoff speeds, if displayed. Determine takeoff speeds from the Sabre Takeoff Data message.
