Crosswind LIMITATIONS -general
-Gusts shall not be considered for purpose of determining a limitation
-If winds at destination airport are expected to exceed crosswind limitations at ETA, an alternate airport will be listed in dispatch release
-If gusty winds exceed 40 kts, an alternate is added
-If winds at departure allow for takeoff but exceed landing limitations, a takeoff alternate is listed on dispatch release
-Static takeoffs not recommended with crosswind component greater than 25 kts due to engine compressor stall possibility
