Limitations Flashcards
(34 cards)
What are APU starter limitations?
After 3 start cycles, wait 60 min before attempting 3 more cycles
What is max N for APU displayed on ECAM?
107%
APU shuts down at 107% N speed, that appears on ECAM. This corresponds to an actual N speed of 106%
Max EGT for APU?
675C
Max APU EGT temp for start below 35000ft?
1090C
Max APU EGT for start above 35000ft?
1120C
Max FL to start and operate APU in flight?
FL410
Max altitude for APU start from batteries inflight?
FL250
Max altitude for use of electrics from APU?
FL410 (above FL335, reduced GEN load in flight iaw table in FCOM LIM)
What is the maximum altitude to use Bleed and Electrics from APU?
Engine start up to 20.000ft
One pack up to 22.500 ft
Two packs up to 15.000 ft
(Air bleed extraction for Wing Anti ice is not permitted)
Max EGT for TOGA(including FLX)?
950C
5 min for both engines and 10 min for single engine case only
Max EGT for MCT?
915C
Max EGT during engine start?
725C
Max continuous oil temp?
140C (max transient 155C for 15 min)
Minimum oil temp for start and for take-off?
- 40C for start
- 10C for take off
Max N1 for the engine?
104% (or lower depending on ambient conditions and air bleed configuration)
Max N2?
105%
Engine starter limitations?
4 consecutive cycles lasting a max of 2 min each, 20 sec pause in between of cycles, cooling period of 15 min after 4 start attempts. No starter engagement when N2 above 20%
Max Flex temp for A319?
ISA+60C (to ensure thrust reduction does not exceed 25% of full rated thrust)
Max FLEX temo for A320?
ISA+53C, to ensure thrust reduction does not exceed 25% of full rated thrust
Max allowed fuel imbalance at take off for A319/A320 incl.sharklets
Heavier tk - Lighter tk
Outers balanced, inners: -one full, one 500kg less
-3000kgs, 1050 kg less
-1450 kgs, 1450 kgs (may be empty)
Linear interpolation between above values.
Outer tanks for take off: max allowed imbalance - 370 kgs
Max allowed fuel imbalance for A319/A320 incl.sharklets in flight and at landing?
Heavier tk - lighter tk
Outers balanced, inner tanks: full (5435) - 1500 kg
4300 kg - 1600 kg
2250 kg - 2250 kg (empty)
Linear interpolation between above values.
Outer tanks imbalance in flight and landing is allowed one full/one empty (690kg imbalance), provided L wing fuel=R wing fuel
OR
In the wing of lighter outer tank, inner tank is heavier than opposite inner tank by not more than 3000 kg
In exceptional conditions (e.g. Fuel system failure) this values, may be exceeded. Aircraft will remain fully controllable in all phases of flight
Minimum fuel temp. for JETA1?
-43C
Max JETA1 fuel temp?
+54C
Max wind for passenger door operation?
65 kts
