Minimum Planned Fuel on Deck
- Shall be no less than 600 lbs
APU limitations
- SHALL be limited to essential operations only.
- acceptable uses in flight includes:
- emergency procedures
- single-engine training
- practice autorotations
- powering ECS during extreme temp ops
Transmission Limitations
- limited by Nr, torque, oil P, oil T (whichever is reached first
- prolonged hovering in hot wx (95°F) and high gross weight may cause temps to rise in yellow range. ops in this range for less than 30 minutes during any one flight is acceptable.
- oil limits:
- level flt = 45-60 psi.
- steady pressure outside 45-60 but within normal limits f 30-65
- fluctuations not to exceed a range of 10psi, within normal limits of 30 to 65.
- during transient pitch or nose high attitudes xmsn oil pressure fluctuations (including momentary below 30psi and transient drops below 20psi for up to 1 sec) are acceptable. operating with pressure fluctuations below 30psi SHALL be limited to 30 min.
- level flt = 45-60 psi.
